Note that Immortal Romance doesn’t have paylines, but is a 243-ways-to-win slot. This means that a match of 3 symbols is had by simply having the three first reels show the same symbol.
It also means that all the symbols that appear on the reels are multiplied with each other to determine the number of win ways. For instance, 2 symbols on the first three reels would result in 8 win ways for that symbol (2 * 2 * 2).
Bonus Features
There are a total of five bonus features in Immortal Romance, including four different free spin features known as the Chamber of Spins and a random feature known as Wild Desire.
Chamber of Spins
Chamber of Spins is all about the four characters that the game revolves around – Amber, Troy, Michael, and Sara. Each of them has its own unique free spin feature and soundtrack, triggered by landing three or more scatter symbols on the reels.
- Amber Bonus: This game is activated on the first trigger of the chamber of spins. You receive 10 free spins during which all winnings are multiplied by x5.
- Troy Bonus: This bonus is obtained from the sixth time you trigger the Chamber of Spins. It awards you 15 free spins during which symbols can randomly turn into x2 or x3 multipliers.
- Michael Bonus: You get this from the 11th trigger of the chamber of spins. It gives 20 free spins and triggers a cascading reel feature on every win, which means that new winning symbols are removed and replaced by news ones. With each cascade, a win multiplier also increases, up to x5 at most.
- Sarah Bonus: The Sarah feature gives you 25 free spins, obtained from the 16th trigger of the Chamber of Spins. Up to 14 regular symbols can turn wild during the spins, and the free spin feature can also be retriggered.
To clarify, Chamber of Spins has a progression system with the progress being saved on the casino you play at. Initially, you will only be able to play the Amber Bonus, but once all four bonuses are unlocked, you are free to choose whichever you want to engage in.
Wild Desire Feature
This bonus is activated randomly during the base game. When active, it turns up to 5 reels wild. This means that you could potentially get a win of 243 wild lines, each paying 50 times your stake. Needless to say, this is the feature with the highest potential payout.
RTP and Volatility
Immortal Romance boasts a high RTP (Return to Player) of 96.86%, which is favourable for players looking for a fair gaming experience. Even though there are slot machines with RTPs that go all the way up to 99%, the average tends to be 96%.
In terms of the volatility, this is at a medium level, striking a balance between the size and frequency of wins.
Graphics and Sound
The gothic theme in Immortal Romance is beautifully rendered with stunning graphics that transport players into a mysterious, dark world. The attention to detail in the artwork is commendable, with each character vividly brought to life.
The soundtrack, with its main music along with four haunting melodies – each tied to a character in the game, complements the theme perfectly, enhancing the overall immersive experience. The music for the Amber bonus is particularly popular amongst people, having over 200,000 views on YouTube.
